About Jonathan Lake
Jonathan Lake is a member of the International Coaching Federation and trained with the Coaching Development programme in London, one of the few training organisations to be accredited.
Jonathan is also a Certified Transactional Analyst with clinical speciality, and registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
Jonathan is currently Chief Executive of The Cancer Counselling Trust and also supports psychotherapy clients in both short-term and longer-term work. This unusual mix of skills provides full support in understanding the demands of business in conjunction with offering solutions and facilitating the perception of how a client can best achieve the results they want, in the way they want. In previous years Jonathan worked for Virgin and the BBC in Strategy and Marketing.
The above learning and experience in conjunction with a degree in Psychology provides a variety of methodologies to equip business clients with the bespoke support they need to set and achieve the goals and ambitions they have for both the short and long term.
With knowledge of both coaching and psychotherapy techniques, Jonathan can offer coaching that inspires clients to maximise their personal and professional potential, through enhancement of skills, resources and creativity.
Jonathan Lake is a member of the The Institute of Transactional Analysis (the ITA) & European Association of Transactional Analysis (EATA).
The ITA is the professional body that sets standards of competence and ethical practice for qualified and training Transactional Analysts in Britain. The ITA is a member organisation of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and is affiliated to the European Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA).
Jonathan is also an alumnus of the Windsor Leadership Trust having studied their six- month leadership training programme, and an affiliate for various Employee Assistance Programmes providing coaching, short and longer term therapy, as well as critical incident and trauma support.
